This is not very good advice you need to do upper body work for the strength and stamina. The stronger your upper body the less effort you have to put into the shot and you will be better suited to take the physical contact that comes with playing inside. The key is to lift then go to the gym and shoot to let your muscles get get stretched and trained to the movements that you are gonna be doing.

AND, if you're going to play competitively in some lil league around here and don't want to be stiff from lifting, I would suggest starting to lift & train ahead of time, and cut back your lifting to two days a week when you start playing for real. If you just go play pickup games, lift throughout, that way if/when you do hop into a league of some type that you'll be strong enough to where you can drop the lifting to maybe 2 light weight routines every couple of weeks and just play the schedule in front of you. That's what I'd do.

Keep your [censored] arm straight unlike 80% of the other players in this area. Work on shooting mid range jumpers and perfect that before you ever step out behind the arc.
first i suggest you work on your dunking. it is a much higher percentage shot as opposed to mega's mid-range jumper he suggested.
Yeah that dunking really helped all of those nba guys make shots in the olympics a few years back
